Québec

Québec est la capitale de la province du même nom au Canada. Elle est située sur la rive nord du fleuve Saint-Laurent. La majorité absolue des quelque 500 000 habitants est francophone. La vieille ville, avec ses remparts, sa citadelle et avec le château de Frontenac, est très bien conservée. Depuis 1985, elle est inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

Quebec is the capital of the province of the same name in Canada. It is located on the north bank of the Saint Lawrence River. The absolute majority of the approximately 500,000 inhabitants is French-speaking. The old town with the city walls and the citadel and Frontenac Castle is very well preserved. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.

Quebec ist die Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Provinz in Kanada. Sie liegt am Nordufer des Sankt Lorentz Stroms. Die absolute Mehrheit der rund 500.000 Einwohner ist französischsprachig. Die Altstadt mit den Stadtmauern, der Zitadelle und dem Schloss Frontenac ist sehr gut erhalten. Seit 1985 ist sie ein UNESCO-Welterbe.
