Granville Island

 

Granville Island and the Burrard Street Bridge are two of Vancouver's most distinctive landmarks, together shaping the landscape of False Creek. The Burrard Bridge, an impressive Art Deco structure built in 1932, spans the inlet with its characteristic towers and elegant lanterns. Nestled directly beneath its southern end lies Granville Island, a former industrial area that has transformed into a vibrant cultural and shopping district.

Le pont Burrard, une impressionnante structure Art déco datant de 1932, enjambe le bras de mer avec ses tours caractéristiques et ses lanternes élégantes.  Playa Jacó es un paraíso tropical rodeado de exuberantes colinas verdes que albergan una biodiversidad asombrosa en la costa del Pacífico. El litoral se distingue por su extensa arena volcánica y un oleaje constante que danza en armonía con las mareas salvajes de la región. A muy poca distancia, el Parque Nacional Carara protege un ecosistema único donde el bosque seco y el húmedo se encuentran, permitiendo el avistamiento de la emblemática lapa roja. Playa Jacó is a tropical sanctuary nestled between emerald-green mountains and the powerful currents of the Central Pacific coast. The beach itself is famous for its dark volcanic sands and a rhythmic tide that creates a perfect habitat for diverse marine life. Just a short drive away, the Carara National Park serves as a vital biological corridor where visitors can admire the majestic scarlet macaws soaring through the canopy. Rugged trails wind through the surrounding rainforest, leading to secluded waterfalls and breathtaking cliffs that overlook the vast coastal landscape.

Playa Jacó ist eine tropische Oase, eingebettet zwischen smaragdgrünen Bergen und den starken Strömungen der Pazifikküste. Der Strand selbst ist berühmt für seinen dunklen Vulkansand und seine rhythmischen Gezeiten, die einen perfekten Lebensraum für eine vielfältige Unterwasserwelt schaffen. Nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt liegt der Carara-Nationalpark, der als wichtiger biologischer Korridor dient, in dem Besucher die majestätischen Scharlachara-Aras bewundern können, die durch das Blätterdach gleiten. Schroffe Pfade schlängeln sich durch den umliegenden Regenwald und führen zu abgelegenen Wasserfällen und atemberaubenden Klippen, von denen aus man die weite Küstenlandschaft überblicken kann.
