 Der Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof ist einer der bedeutendsten und architektonisch eindrucksvollsten Fernbahnhöfe Europas. Das im Jahr 1888 eröffnete Empfangsgebäude besticht durch seine prachtvolle Neorenaissance-Fassade, die von einer großen Skulptur des Titanen Atlas gekrönt wird, der die Weltkugel auf seinen Schultern trägt. Im Inneren öffnet sich der Bahnhof zu einer imposanten, von gewaltigen Eisen- und Glasstrukturen überspannten Bahnsteighalle. Als historisches Denkmal verbindet der Bau meisterhaft die Repräsentationsarchitektur der Gründerzeit mit den ingenieurtechnischen Höchstleistungen des späten 19. Jahrhunderts.

 Frankfurt Central Station is one of the most prominent and architecturally impressive long-distance railway stations in Europe. Opened in 1888, the main hall features a magnificent Neo-Renaissance facade crowned by a grand sculpture of the Titan Atlas bearing the globe on his shoulders. Inside, the station opens up into an imposing train shed spanned by massive iron and glass vault structures. As a historic monument, the building masterfully combines the grand representational architecture of the Wilhelminian era with the high engineering achievements of the late 19th century.

 The flag of the Cayman Islands is a Blue Ensign that features the British Union Jack in the upper left corner. On the right half of the flag rests the official coat of arms of the territory, set inside a white circular background. This coat of arms displays a golden lion representing the United Kingdom, alongside three green stars set upon blue and white wavy lines. The three stars symbolize the inhabited main islands of Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. Above the shield, a pineapple and a green sea turtle reference the history of discovery and the maritime traditions of the islands. Completing the design at the bottom is a ribbon featuring the Biblical motto "He hath founded it upon the seas."

Die Flagge der Kaimaninseln ist eine blaue britische Dienstflagge (Blue Ensign), die in der oberen linken Ecke den Union Jack zeigt. Auf der rechten Hälfte ist das offizielle Wappen der Inselgruppe abgebildet, das auf einer weiß eingefassten Scheibe ruht.  The idyllic Bonne Nuit Harbour is situated on the rugged north coast of the Channel Island of Jersey, nestled between the steep cliffs of the Frémont and La Crête headlands. Its name translates to "Good Night," reflecting the sheltered nature of the bay that provided mariners with a calm refuge for centuries. The stone pier visible today was built in 1872 by the States of Jersey to offer shelter to the local fishing fleet and facilitate the transport of granite from nearby quarries.

L'idyllique port de Bonne Nuit se situe sur la côte nord escarpée de l'île anglo-normande de Jersey, niché entre les falaises abruptes des pointes de Frémont et de La Crête. Son nom fait référence au caractère abrité de la baie, qui offrait depuis des siècles un refuge paisible aux marins pour la nuit. La jetée en pierre visible aujourd'hui a été construite en 1872 par les États de Jersey afin d'offrir un abri à la flotte de pêche locale et de faciliter le transport du granit issu des carrières voisines.

Der idyllische Bonne Nuit Harbour liegt an der zerklüfteten Nordküste der Kanalinsel Jersey, eingebettet zwischen den steilen Klippen der Landzungen Frémont und La Crête. Sein Name bedeutet auf Deutsch „Gute Nacht“ und nimmt Bezug auf die geschützte Lage der Bucht, die Seefahrern seit Jahrhunderten eine ruhige Zuflucht für die Nacht bot. Brest-Central Railway Station in Belarus was solemnly opened in 1886 and today stands as an impressive architectural monument built in the Stalinist Empire style. Due to its geographical location right on the border with Poland, the station serves as one of the most critical transport hubs for passenger and freight traffic between Western and Eastern Europe. In railway history, the station gained particular renown for the technically complex gauge conversion process required when transitioning between the European standard gauge and the Eastern European broad gauge. The monumental station building is characterized by grand columns, decorative arched elements, and a striking tower, which is why the station is often described as an open-air marble museum. Inside, spacious halls and ornate ceiling decorations combine the building's rich history with modern travel infrastructure.

Der Hauptbahnhof Brest-Zentralny in Belarus wurde im Jahr 1886 feierlich eröffnet und präsentiert sich heute als imposantes Architekturdenkmal im stalinistischen Zuckerbäckerstil. Durch seine geografische Lage direkt an der Grenze zu Polen bildet der Bahnhof eine der wichtigsten Schnittstellen für den Reise- und Güterverkehr zwischen West- und Osteuropa. Eisenbahngeschichtlich erlangte die Station besondere Bekanntheit, da dort durch den Wechsel von der europäischen Normalspur zur osteuropäischen Breitspur das technisch aufwendige Umspuren der Passagier- und Güterzüge stattfand. Le parc national des Volcans, situé dans le nord-ouest du Rwanda, protège les flancs densément boisés des montagnes des Virunga et offre l'un des décors les plus fascinants d'Afrique. Ce parc national de renommée mondiale abrite les gorilles de montagne, une espèce menacée qui y vit en liberté au sein de groupes familiaux protégés. Un trek inoubliable à travers la jungle dense permet aux visiteurs d'approcher au plus près ces doux géants et d'observer leur fascinant comportement social. Le travail pionnier de recherche et de protection de ces primates a été mené par la zoologiste américaine Dian Fossey, dont l'ancien centre de recherche se trouvait au cœur du parc. На пространoм, зеленом простору налазе се аутентичне дрвене брвнаре и помоћни објекти који су пажљиво сакупљени и обновљени. Детаљно опремљени ентеријери са традиционалним алатом, народним ношњама и намештајем пружају аутентичан увид у некадашњу свакодневицу и занатство златиборског краја. Место је такође познато по својој дугој традицији плетења, где локалне жене и данас израђују светски познате одевне предмете од вуне. Редовне културне манифестације, демонстрације старих заната и кулинарски специјалитети чине историју овог региона живом и опипљивом.

"Old village" museum
The open-air museum "Staro Selo" in the Serbian village of Sirogojno impressively takes visitors back to rural life in the 19th century. Spanning a spacious, green area, it features authentic wooden farmhouses and outbuildings that have been carefully collected and restored. The intricately furnished interiors, equipped with traditional tools, costumes, and furniture, offer an authentic insight into the everyday life and craftsmanship of the Zlatibor region back then. The location is also renowned for its long tradition of hand-knitting, with local women continuing to craft world-famous woolen garments to this day. Regular cultural events, demonstrations of ancient crafts, and regional culinary specialties make the history of the area come alive.

Museum "Altes Dorf"
Das Freilichtmuseum „Staro Selo“ im serbischen Dorf Sirogojno entführt seine Besucher auf eindrucksvolle Weise in das ländliche Leben des 19. Jahrhunderts. Auf einem weitläufigen, grünbewachsenen Areal stehen originalgetreue, aus Holz erbauten Bauernhäuser und Wirtschaftsgebäude, die sorgfältig zusammengetragen und restauriert wurden. Die detailreich eingerichteten Innenräume geben mit traditionellen Werkzeugen, Trachten und Möbeln einen authentischen Einblick in den damaligen Alltag und das Handwerk der Region Zlatibor. Bekannt ist der Ort zudem für seine lange Tradition der Handstrickerei, bei der einheimische Frauen bis heute weltberühmte Wollsachen herstellen. Regelmäßig stattfindende Kulturveranstaltungen, Demonstrationen alter Handwerkstechniken und kulinarische Spezialitäten machen die Geschichte der Region lebendig spürbar.

Žamberk - Senftenberg

 Židovský hřbitov
Židovský hřbitov ve východočeském Žamberku se nachází nedaleko centra města v sousedství městského muzea a byl založen pravděpodobně v první polovině 17. století. Na ploše přibližně 2 100 metrů čtverečních se dochovalo kolem 230 náhrobků, z nichž nejstarší pocházejí z roku 1731. Areál se dělí na starší část s bohatě zdobenými stélami s hebrejskými nápisy a novější část s prostšími náhrobky z konce 19. století. V letech 1931 a 1932 nechal textilní podnikatel Josef Nettl postavit elegantní obřadní síň, než pohřbívání v důsledku druhé světové války zcela ustalo. Během německé okupace byl hřbitov těžce devastován a po desetiletí zůstal zanedbaný. Po pádu komunistického režimu prošel rozsáhlou rekonstrukcí a od roku 1992 je chráněnou kulturní památkou, přičemž v historické obřadní síni se dnes nachází stálá expozice věnovaná nekdejšímu židovskému životu ve městě.

Der jüdische Friedhof im ostböhmischen Senftenberg liegt unweit des Stadtzentrums neben dem Stadtmuseum und wurde wahrscheinlich in der ersten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts angelegt. Auf dem rund 2.100 Quadratmeter großen Areal haben sich etwa 230 Grabsteine erhalten, von denen die ältesten aus dem Jahr 1731 stammen. Das Areal gliedert sich in einen älteren Bereich mit reich verzierten, hebräischen Inschriftenstelen und einen neueren Abschnitt mit schlichteren Grabmälern aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert. In den Jahren 1931 und 1932 ließ der Textilfabrikant Josef Nettl eine elegante Zeremonienhalle errichten, bevor die Beisetzungen im Zuge des Zweiten Weltkriegs gänzlich endeten. Während der deutschen Okkupation wurde die Anlage schwer verwüstet und blieb über Jahrzehnte hinweg weitgehend dem Verfall überlassen. Nach der Wende wurde der Friedhof umfassend restauriert und steht seit 1992 als geschütztes Kulturdenkmal offen, wobei die historische Zeremonienhalle heute eine ständige Ausstellung über das einst hebräische Gemeindeleben der Stadt beherbergt.

 The Jewish cemetery in the East Bohemian town of Žamberk is located near the town center next to the local museum and was likely established in the first half of the 17th century. On the site of approximately 2,100 square meters, around 230 gravestones have been preserved, with the oldest dating back to 1731. The grounds are divided into an older section featuring richly decorated stelae with Hebrew inscriptions and a newer section with simpler tombstones from the late 19th century. In 1931 and 1932, the textile manufacturer Josef Nettl had an elegant ceremonial hall built before burials ceased completely during World War II. During the German occupation, the cemetery was severely vandalized and left neglected for decades. Following the Velvet Revolution, the site underwent extensive restoration and has been a protected cultural monument since 1992, with the historic ceremonial hall now hosting a permanent exhibition on the town's former Jewish community life.

Žamberk - Senftenberg

Východočeské městečko Žamberk, idylicky položené v podhůří Orlických hor, okouzluje návštěvníky svou bohatou historií a řadou kulturních památek. Nejvýraznější dominantou města je barokní kostel svatého Václava, jehož 72 metrů vysoké věže utvářejí siluetu celé obce. Dalším významným místem je renesanční zámek Žamberk, který je obklopen rozsáhlým anglickým parkem zvoucím k příjemným procházkám. Vysoko nad městem nabízí dřevěná Tyršova rozhledna, lidově zvaná „Rozálka“, úchvatný panoramatický výhled na celý okolní kraj.
 

 Die ostböhmische Kleinstadt Senftenberg in Böhmen, idyllisch im Vorland des Adlergebirges gelegen, bezaubert Besucher mit ihrer reichen Geschichte und einer Vielzahl an kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das markanteste Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist die barocke St.-Wenzels-Kirche, deren 72 Meter hohe Türme die Silhouette des Ortes prägen. Ein weiteres Highlight bildet das Renaissance-Schloss Senftenberg, das von einem weitläufigen englischen Park umgeben ist und zu entspannten Spaziergängen einlädt. Hoch über der Stadt bietet der hölzerne Aussichtsturm auf dem Rosalienberg (Tyrš-Aussichtsturm), im Volksmund liebevoll „Rozálka“ genannt, einen Panoramablick über die gesamte Region.

Schokland

 Schokland in het IJsselmeer is een fascinerend symbool van de eeuwenoude strijd van de Nederlanders tegen het water. Oorspronkelijk was het een dichtbevolkt stuk land in de Zuiderzee, maar door voortdurende stormvloeden en erosie verloor het eiland steeds meer terrein, totdat het in 1859 om veiligheidsredenen volledig moest worden geëvacueerd. Pas met de aanleg van de dijken en de drooglegging van de Noordoostpolder in de 20e eeuw werd het eiland weer helemaal door het vasteland ingesloten. Tegenwoordig steekt dit voormalige eiland als een subtiele, langgerekte verhoging uit boven het vlakke polderlandschap en getuigt het van een veranderd cultuurlandschap. Op het terrein bevinden zich historische gebouwen, zoals een oude houten kerk en een museum, die de bewogen geschiedenis van de vroegere eilandbewoners tot leven brengen. Als eerste Nederlandse monument werd Schokland in 1995 vanwege de uitzonderlijke cultuurhistorische waarde aangewezen als UNESCO-Werelderfgoed.

Als erstes niederländisches Bauwerk wurde Schokland 1995 wegen seines außerordentlichen kulturhistorischen Werts zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt.

Originally a densely populated strip of land in the Zuiderzee, the island constantly lost area to severe storm surges and erosion until it had to be completely evacuated for safety reasons in 1859. It was only during the 20th century, with the damming and reclamation of the Noordoostpolder, that the island was entirely reclaimed by the mainland. Today, the former island rises as a gentle, elongated elevation above the flat polder landscape, bearing witness to a transformed cultural environment. The site features historic structures, including an old wooden church and a museum, which bring the vibrant history of its former inhabitants to life. In 1995, Schokland was designated as the very first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Netherlands due to its exceptional cultural and historical value.

The Tokyo Imperial Palace sits as a lush green sanctuary in the heart of Japan's capital, serving as the primary residence of the Imperial Family. Built on the historic grounds of the former Edo Castle, the vast estate is still framed by impressive stone walls and tranquil moats. Among its features, the iconic Nijubashi Bridge—often referred to as the "Double Bridge" due to its distinctive two-tiered design—stands out as an architectural highlight. Its elegant reflection on the surface of the water creates one of the most memorable views on the entire palace grounds. While the inner palace remains off-limits to the general public for most of the year, visitors are welcome to explore the surrounding outer gardens.

Der Kaiserpalast in Tokio bildet das grüne Herz der japanischen Hauptstadt und dient als offizielle Residenz der kaiserlichen Familie.  The small Serbian town of Bajina Bašta is picturesquely nestled at the foot of Mount Tara, right on the banks of the border river Drina. Internationally, the town is best known for its world-famous River House, which sits spectacularly on a tiny rock amidst the currents of the Drina. As the gateway to Tara National Park, the region attracts numerous nature enthusiasts with its dense forests, deep gorges, and crystal-clear waters. An absolute highlight of local tourism is the traditional rafting, which is deeply rooted in the history of the former river loggers. Every summer, the legendary "Drina Regatta" takes place here, bringing together tens of thousands of people to float down the river on colorfully decorated wooden rafts and boats.

 Die serbische Kleinstadt Bajina Bašta liegt malerisch am Fuße des Tara-Gebirges direkt am Ufer des grenzüberschreitenden Flusses Drina. International bekannt ist der Ort vor allem für sein weltberühmtes Flusshaus, das spektakulär auf einem winzigen Felsen mitten in den Strömungen der Drina thront. Als Tor zum Tara-Nationalpark zieht die Region mit ihren dichten Wäldern, tiefen Schluchten und klaren Gewässern zahlreiche Natur begeisterte Besucher an. Warsaw West
Warsaw West station is one of the most important and heavily used railway hubs in the Polish capital of Warsaw. As part of a massive modernization project, the station has been transformed in recent years into one of Central Europe's most state-of-the-art multimodal transit hubs. A spectacular, light-flooded glass canopy spans the numerous platforms, lending the entire complex a distinctly futuristic design. Beneath the tracks, a wide, barrier-free pedestrian concourse lined with shops and eateries seamlessly connects train services with the adjacent bus terminal. In addition to extensive national and international long-distance connections, the station serves as a crucial hub for regional commuter traffic across Masovia.

Warschau West
Der Bahnhof Warschau West ist einer der wichtigsten und am stärksten frequentierten Eisenbahnknotenpunkte der polnischen Hauptstadt Warschau. Im Rahmen eines gigantischen Modernisierungsprojekts wurde die Station in den letzten Jahren zu einem der modernsten multimodalen Verkehrsknoten Mitteleuropas umgestaltet. Ein spektakuläres, lichtdurchflutetes Glasdach überspannt nun die zahlreichen Bahnsteige und verleiht dem Areal eine futuristische Architektur. Unterhalb der Gleise verbindet eine breite, barrierefreie Fußgängerpassage mit Geschäften und Gastronomieangeboten den Zugverkehr nahtlos mit dem angrenzenden Busbahnhof. Neben dem dichten nationalen und internationalen Fernverkehr ist die Station ein zentraler Dreh- und Angelpunkt für den regionalen Pendlerverkehr der Region Masowien.

Queen Elisabeth Natonal Park

 Located in southwestern Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most biodiverse and renowned protected areas on the entire African continent. Nestled between Lake George and Lake Edward, its varied landscape is dramatically framed by the majestic Ruwenzori Mountains. The park is globally famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, which often rest in the branches of giant fig trees during the heat of the day. Additionally, the Kazinga Channel and a mosaic of savannas, wetlands, and crater lakes provide a habitat for baboons, elephants, buffaloes, and hundreds of bird species.

Der Queen-Elizabeth-Nationalpark im Südwesten Ugandas gehört zu den artenreichsten und bekanntesten Schutzgebieten des gesamten afrikanischen Kontinents. Gelegen zwischen dem Alexandersee und dem Eduardsee wird das abwechslungsreiche Territorium von der imposanten Kulisse des Ruwenzori-Gebirges gerahmt. Weltweit berühmt ist der Park für seine baumkletternden Löwen im Ishasha-Sektor, die tagsüber oft in den verästelten Kronen riesiger Feigenbäume ruhen. Zudem bilden der Kazinga-Kanal und die vielfältigen Landschaften aus Savannen, Feuchtgebieten und Kraterseen den Lebensraum für Paviane, Elefanten, Büffel sowie hunderte Vogelarten.

Hrubý Rohozec - Groß Rohosetz

 Zámek Hrubý Rohozec
Malovaný zámek Hrubý Rohozec leží na strmé skále nedaleko severočeského města Turnova přímo nad břehem řeky Jizery. Původně středověký hrad založený ve druhé polovině 13. století se pyšní bohatou historií a dnes slouží jako významná národní kulturní památka. V průběhu století prošla stavba mnoha proměnami, které jí vdechly prvky od pozdní gotiky až po novogotiku. Více než tři století utvářel tvář zámku především hraběcí rod Desfoursů, kterému sídlo sloužilo jako reprezentativní rodinná rezidence. V autenticky zařízených interiérech mohou návštěvníci nahlédnout do bytové kultury šlechty od 17. až do 20. století. Areál obklopený romantickým anglickým parkem zve k fascinující cestě napříč architektonickou historií.

Schloss Groß Rohosetz
Das malerische Schloss Groß Rohosetz liegt auf einem steilen Felsen nahe der nordböhmischen Stadt Turnov direkt am Ufer der Iser. Die im späten 13. Jahrhundert als mittelalterliche Burg errichtete Anlage blickt auf eine bewegte Geschichte zurück und dient heute als bedeutendes Nationales Kulturdenkmal. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte erfand sich das Bauwerk immer wieder neu und wandelte sich durch Umbauten von der Spätgotik bis hin zur Neugotik. Über drei Jahrhunderte prägte vor allem das Adelsgeschlecht der Grafen Desfours das Schloss, das als deren prächtiger Familiensitz diente. The picturesque Hrubý Rohozec Castle sits atop a steep cliff near the North Bohemian town of Turnov, overlooking the banks of the Jizera River. Originally built in the late 13th century as a medieval fortress, the site boasts a rich history and is designated today as a major National Cultural Monument. Over the centuries, the building underwent continuous transformations, adopting architectural styles ranging from Late Gothic to Neo-Gothic. For over three hundred years, the noble Desfours family shaped the estate, using it as their grand family residence. Inside the authentically furnished rooms, visitors can immerse themselves in noble living culture spanning from the 17th to the 20th century.  Lemvigbanen, officielt kendt som VLTJ, er en traditionsrig lokalbane i den vestlige del af Nordjylland. Siden slutningen af det 19. århundrede har den forbundet byen Vemb via Lemvig med havnebyen Thyborøn ved Vesterhavet. Udover sin vigtige rolle for den daglige lokaltrafik og godstransport har den enkeltsporede strækning stor betydning for den regionale turisme. Banen opnåede særlig berømmelse gennem et populært dansk 80'er-hit, som gav den ægte kultstatus.

Die Lemvigbahn, offiziell als VLTJ bekannt, ist eine traditionsreiche Regionalbahn im Westen der dänischen Region Nordjütland. Sie verbindet seit dem späten 19. Jahrhundert die Stadt Vemb über Lemvig mit dem Hafenort Thyborøn an der Nordsee. Neben ihrer wichtigen Rolle für den täglichen Nahverkehr und den Gütertransport besitzt die eingleisige Strecke eine große Bedeutung für den regionalen Tourismus. The Lemvig Railway, officially known as VLTJ, is a historic regional railway in the western part of North Denmark. Since the late 19th century, it has connected the town of Vemb via Lemvig with the coastal harbor town of Thyborøn on the North Sea. In addition to its important role in daily commuter transport and freight shipping, the single-track line holds great significance for regional tourism. The railway gained particular fame through a popular Danish 1980s hit song, which earned it true cult status.

Route 66

 Route 66 is regarded as America's most legendary highway, originally stretching nearly 4,000 kilometers from Chicago to Santa Monica. Officially commissioned in 1926, it quickly became one of the country's vital east-west arteries for travel and commerce. During the Great Depression and subsequent decades, the route carried millions of people migrating westward, deeply shaping American cultural history. A vibrant roadside culture of iconic motels, classic diners, and neon signs flourished along the way, cementing the myth of freedom on the open road. Although the expansion of modern Interstate highways led to its official decommission in the 1980s, large portions of the historic alignment still attract adventurers from around the globe.

Die Route 66 gilt als die legendärste Hauptstraße der USA und erstreckte sich ursprünglich über knapp 4.000 Kilometer von Chicago bis nach Santa Monica. Sie wurde 1926 offiziell eröffnet und wuchs schnell zu einer der wichtigsten Ost-West-Verbindungen des Landes heran. Besonders während der Weltwirtschaftskrise und der folgenden Jahrzehnte verhalf die Straße Millionen von Menschen zur Flucht in Richtung Westen und prägte damit die amerikanische Kulturgeschichte nachhaltig. Entlang der Strecke entstand eine lebendige Infrastruktur aus kultigen Motels, Diner-Restaurants und auffälligen Reklamen, die den Mythos der Freiheit auf Rädern begründeten. Obwohl der Ausbau moderner Interstate-Autobahnen in den 1980er-Jahren zur offiziellen Stilllegung führte, zieht der historische Streckenverlauf bis heute Abenteurer aus aller Welt an.

Ayutthaya Historical Park
The Ayutthaya Historical Park in Thailand encompasses the impressive ruins of the former magnificent capital of the Kingdom of Siam and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the heart of this historical complex lies Wat Mahathat, famous for hosting one of Southeast Asia's most captivating imagery. There, the stone head of a Buddha statue is mystically entwined and enveloped within the powerful roots of a banyan tree. Over the centuries, the growing tree gently lifted the relic without damaging its serene features.

Geschichtspark Ayutthaya
Der Geschichtspark Ayutthaya in Thailand umfasst die beeindruckenden Ruinen der einstigen prachtvollen Hauptstadt des Königreiches Siam und gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Im Herzen dieser historischen Anlage liegt der Tempel Wat Mahathat, der für eines der faszinierendsten Fotomotive Südostasiens bekannt ist. Dort ist der steinerne Kopf einer Buddha-Statue von den mächtigen Wurzeln eines Banyan-Baums umschlungen und auf mystische Weise eingewachsen.  Die Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt gilt als eines der bedeutendsten Ensembles des mitteleuropäischen Jugendstils und zählt seit 2021 zum UNESCO-Welterbe. Gegründet im Jahr 1899 von Großherzog Ernst Ludwig als Künstlerkolonie, entwickelte sie sich zu einem Pionierort moderner Architektur und Gestaltung. Das markanteste Wahrzeichen des Areals ist der knapp 50 Meter hohe Hochzeitsturm, dessen fünf charakteristische Bögen an eine geöffnete Hand erinnern. Direkt daneben setzen die vergoldeten Zwiebeltürme der Russischen Kapelle einen prachtvollen architektonischen Akzent.

Al-Hakim at-Tirmidhi complex
 The Al-Hakim at-Tirmidhi complex is located on the banks of the Amu Darya River near the ancient fortress of Termez in southern Uzbekistan. This important pilgrimage site developed over the final resting place of the famous 9th-century Sufi scholar and theologian Abu Abdallah Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hakim at-Tirmidhi. Between the 9th and 16th centuries, the site evolved into a versatile architectural ensemble combining a central mausoleum, a multi-domed mosque, and quarters for pilgrims.

 Der Komplex des Hakkim al Termezi liegt am Ufer des Flusslaufs Amudarja nahe der antiken Festung von Termez im Süden Usbekistans. Diese bedeutende Pilgerstätte entstand über der Ruhestätte des berühmten Sufi-Gelehrten und Theologen Abu Abdallah Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hakim at-Tirmidhi, der im 9. Jahrhundert wirkte. Vom 9. bis zum 16. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich die Anlage zu einem vielseitigen Bauensemble, das ein zentrales Mausoleum, eine mehrkuppelige Moschee und Unterkünfte für Pilger vereint.
