Hradec Králové - Königgrätz
Hradec Králové –
Salon republiky
pochlubit i zajímavou moderní architekturou první poloviny 20. století. Právě z
této doby pochází hrdý přívlastek města – Salon republiky. Hradec se nejen
zásluhou tehdejšího starosty Dr. Františka Ulricha definitivně zbavil hradeb
vojenské pevnosti. Díky významným architektům, především Janu Kotěrovi a Josefu
In addition to the valuable historical center (city monument reserve), the Royal Dowry City also boasts interesting modern architecture from the first half of the 20th century. From this time comes the proud attribute of the city - the Salon of the Republic. Hradec, not only thanks to the then mayor Dr. František Ulrich, removed the walls of the military fortress. Thanks to important architects, especially Jan Kotěr and Josef Gočár, a well-thought-out urban concept of a dynamically developing city was created, which for some time became a model for other cities in our republic.

Tyla Grammar School (Josef Gočár, 1927), Anglobanka (Josef Gočár, 1923), Gallery of Modern art (Osvald Polívka, 1912), Main Railway Station (Brothers Rejchlová, 1935).

The White Tower is the imposing landmark of the East Bohemian city of Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic. Built in the Renaissance style starting in 1574, the impressive structure rises 72 meters high above the main town square. The bell tower owes its name to the light-colored sandstone from which it was originally constructed. Hanging inside is the famous Augustin Bell, which ranks as the third-largest bell in the country and still tolls on special occasions today. Following a comprehensive modernization, visitors inside are greeted by a unique glass model of the tower alongside a modern interactive exhibition.

Kuks, lapidárium soch M. B. Brauna - Kukus, Lapidarium von M. B. Braun
Barokní areál
Kuks a Braunův Betlém
Baroque complex Kuks and Braun's Bethlehem
300 years ago, Count Špork did not need healing springs to build a famous spa for the European aristocracy with the majestic Kuks Hospital and statues of Matthias Bernard Braun. In addition, after an expensive reconstruction, the entire complex turned into a beauty. Since 2015, Kuks is like new.
