Berlin-Spandau

 

 Spandau ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Berlin, Deutschland. Er befindet sich im westlichen Teil Berlins und wird im Westen von der Havel begrenzt. Spandau war früher eine unabhängige Stadt, wurde aber 1920 im Zuge der Verwaltungsreform Teil von Groß-Berlin. Spandau wurde ursprünglich im 12. Jahrhundert gegründet und wuchs um die Zitadelle Spandau, eine historische Festung, die noch heute als eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt erhalten ist.

Spandau is a locality (district) within the city of Berlin, Germany. It is situated in the western part of Berlin, bordered by the Havel River to the west. It was once an independent city but became part of Greater Berlin in 1920 during administrative reforms. Spandau was originally founded in the 12th century and grew around Spandau Citadel, a historic fortress that still stands today as one of the city's prominent landmarks.
