Warnemünde

 

 Warnemünde, ein bezaubernder Ortsteil von Rostock, liegt malerisch an der Mündung der Warnow in die Ostsee. Der breite, feinsandige Strand ist einer der schönsten Deutschlands und lädt das ganze Jahr über zu Spaziergängen und Entspannung ein. An der charmanten "Alter Strom" genannten Hafenpromenade schaukeln Fischerboote, während bunte Häuser und gemütliche Cafés zum Verweilen einladen. Das Wahrzeichen des Ortes ist der 37 Meter hohe Leuchtturm, der einen fantastischen Ausblick über die Küste bietet. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Leuchtturms befindet sich der historische "Teepott", ein architektonisch einzigartiges Gebäude, das heute Restaurants beherbergt.

Warnemünde, a charming district of Rostock, is picturesquely situated at the mouth of the Warnow River on the Baltic Sea. The wide, fine sandy beach is one of Germany's most beautiful and invites you to stroll and relax all year round. On the charming harbour promenade, known as the "Alter Strom," fishing boats bob, while colourful houses and cosy cafés invite you to linger. The landmark of the town is the 37-meter-high lighthouse, which offers a fantastic view over the coast. In the immediate vicinity of the lighthouse is the historic "Teepott," an architecturally unique building that now houses restaurants.
