 赤嵌樓
普羅民遮城 今日稱為赤崁樓，於1653年由荷蘭人在台灣台南建造，最初作為政治中心。1661年，這座堡壘在中國將領鄭成功的攻擊下僅數日便投降，後來成為他的行政中心。18世紀時，該建築群因地震和反叛而嚴重受損並逐漸荒廢。在清朝統治期間，它於19世紀重建，並增建了現今兩座中式閣樓：文昌閣和海神廟。

Fort Provintia
Fort Provintia, today known as Chihkan Tower, was built by the Dutch in Tainan, Taiwan, in 1653 and originally served as a political centre. In 1661, the original fortress surrendered to the Chinese warlord Koxinga after only a few days and later became his administrative headquarters. The complex was severely damaged and fell into ruin due to earthquakes and rebellions in the 18th century. During the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt in the 19th century with the addition of the current two Chinese-style pavilions: the Wenchang Pavilion and the Haishen Temple.

 Das Fort Provintia, heute bekannt als Chihkan Tower, wurde 1653 von den Niederländern in Tainan, Taiwan, erbaut und diente als politisches Zentrum. Die ursprüngliche Festung kapitulierte 1661 nach nur wenigen Tagen vor dem chinesischen Kriegsherrn Koxinga, der es zu seinem Hauptquartier machte. Im 18. Jahrhundert wurde die Anlage durch Erdbeben und Aufstände stark beschädigt und zerfiel. Während der Qing-Dynastie wurde sie im 19. Jahrhundert neu aufgebaut und mit den heutigen zwei Pavillons im chinesischen Stil versehen: dem Wenchang-Pavillon und dem Haishen-Tempel.
