 Саранск – столица Республики Мордовия в европейской части России, расположенная на реке Инсар. Saransk is the capital of the Republic of Mordovia in the European part of Russia, located on the Insar River. As an important regional center, the city is known for its diversified industry, which includes machine and carriage building and food production. The Mordovian State University significantly shapes the educational and research life of the city. A highlight of recent history was Saransk's role as one of the host cities for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, for which the modern Mordovia Arena was constructed. Architecturally, the city combines historical buildings and modern developments.

Saransk ist die Hauptstadt der Republik Mordwinien im europäischen Teil Russlands und liegt am Fluss Insar. Als wichtiges regionales Zentrum ist die Stadt bekannt für ihre diversifizierte Industrie, die von Maschinen- und Waggonbau bis zur Lebensmittelproduktion reicht.
