Бања Лука – Banja Luka

Бања Лука, други по величини град у Босни и Херцеговини, смјештена је сликовито на обалама смарагднозелене ријеке Врбас. Позната је као административни и културни центар Републике Српске и задивљује својим широким алејама и бројним парковима, због чега носи епитет „град зеленила“. Централна знаменитост је средњовјековна тврђава Кастел, која свједочи о дугој историји насељавања овог подручја. Изглед града додатно красе архитектонски бисери попут обновљене Ферхадија џамије и монументалног Саборног храма Христа Спаситеља.

Banja Luka, the second-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is picturesquely situated on the banks of the emerald-green Vrbas River. It is known as the administrative and cultural center of the Republika Srpska and impresses with its wide avenues and numerous parks, earning it the nickname "City of Greenery." A central landmark is the medieval Kastel Fortress, which bears witness to the region's long history of settlement. The cityscape is also shaped by architectural highlights such as the rebuilt Ferhadija Mosque and the monumental Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

Banja Luka, die zweitgrößte Stadt von Bosnien und Herzegowina, liegt malerisch an den Ufern des smaragdgrünen Flusses Vrbas. Sie ist als das Verwaltungs- und Kulturzentrum der Republika Srpska bekannt und besticht durch ihre weitläufigen Alleen und zahlreichen Parkanlagen, was ihr den Beinamen „Stadt des Grüns“ einbrachte. Ein zentrales Wahrzeichen ist die mittelalterliche Festung Kastel, die Zeugnis von der langen Siedlungsgeschichte der Region ablegt. Das Stadtbild wird zudem durch architektonische Highlights wie die wiederaufbaute Ferhadija-Moschee und die monumentale Kathedrale Christi Erlöser geprägt.
