Havlíčkův Brod - Deutschbrod

 

 Havlíčkův Brod, historické město v české oblasti Vysočina, se malebně rozkládá u řeky Sázavy. Dobře zachovalé centrum města je chráněno jako městská památková zóna a láká k procházkám. Srdcem města je Havlíčkovo náměstí, které lemují cenné renesanční a barokní domy. Mezi nejvýznamnější památky patří Stará radnice s historickou pamětní sochou, která připomíná starou pověst. Farní kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie se tyčí s 51 metrů vysokou věží, ve které se nachází jeden z nejstarších zvonů v zemi. "Park Budoucnost" na okraji města navíc nabízí příjemné místo k odpočinku s prastarými stromy.

Deutschbrod, eine historische Stadt in der tschechischen Region Hochland, liegt malerisch am Fluss Sasau. Der gut erhaltene Stadtkern ist als städtisches Denkmalgebiet geschützt und lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Das Herzstück der Stadt ist der Hauptplatz, der von wertvollen Renaissance- und Barockhäusern gesäumt wird. Zu den markantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten gehört das Alte Rathaus mit seiner historischen Gedenkskulptur, die an eine alte Sage erinnert. Die Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt ragt mit ihrem 51 Meter hohen Turm empor, in dem sich eine der ältesten Glocken des Landes befindet. Der "Park der Zukunft" (Park Budoucnost) am Rande der Stadt bietet zudem einen schönen Erholungsort mit altem Baumbestand. 

Havlíčkův Brod, a historic town in the Czech Vysočina region, is picturesquely situated on the Sázava River. The well-preserved town center is protected as an urban monument zone and is perfect for walks. The heart of the town is Havlíčkovo Square, lined with valuable Renaissance and Baroque houses. Among the most prominent landmarks is the Old Town Hall with its historical commemorative sculpture, which recalls an old legend. The Parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary stands out with its 51-meter-high tower, which houses one of the oldest bells in the country. The "Park of the Future" (Park Budoucnost) on the outskirts of the town also offers a lovely recreational spot with ancient trees.
