Kyjov - Gaya

 Kyjovský kroj patří k nejzdobnějším a nejznámějším lidovým krojům v celé České republice. Vyznačuje se především sněhobílými, bohatě vyšívanými rukávci a výraznou, obvykle tmavou skládanou sukní, kterou zdobí pestrobarevné květinové motivy. Charakteristickým znakem ženského kroje je umně uvázaný šátek a jemné krajkové límce, které odrážejí řemeslnou dokonalost. U mužů dominují bohatě zdobené korduly a úzké nohavice, které jsou často doplněny modrým vyšíváním a koženými aplikacemi.

The traditional costume of Kyjov is among the most magnificent and well-known folk dresses in the entire Czech Republic. It is particularly distinguished by its snow-white, richly embroidered sleeves and the striking, usually dark pleated skirt adorned with vibrant floral motifs. A characteristic feature of the women's costume is the artfully tied headscarf and the delicate lace collars, which reflect true handcrafted perfection. For men, richly decorated vests and tight-fitting trousers, often featuring blue embroidery and leather applications, dominate the look.

Die Tracht aus der mährisch-slowakischen Stadt Gaya zählt zu den prächtigsten und bekanntesten Volkstrachten in der gesamten Tschechischen Republik. Sie zeichnet sich besonders durch ihre schneeweißen, reich bestickten Ärmel und den markanten, meist dunklen Faltenrock aus, der mit farbenfrohen Blumenmotiven verziert ist. Ein charakteristisches Merkmal der Frauentracht ist das kunstvoll gebundene Kopftuch sowie die feinen Spitzenkragen, die handwerkliche Perfektion widerspiegeln. Bei den Männern dominieren reich verzierte Westen und eng anliegende Hosen, die oft mit blauen Stickereien und Lederapplikationen versehen sind.
