Muzium Negeri Sarawak - Sarawak State Museum

 The Sarawak State Museum is the oldest museum in Borneo. It was founded in 1888 and opened in 1891 in a purpose-built building in Kuching, Sarawak. Naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace encouraged Charles Brooke, the second White Rajah of Sarawak, to establish the museum.

 Das Sarawak State Museum ist das älteste Museum in Borneo. Es wurde 1888 gegründet und 1891 in einem eigens dafür errichteten Gebäude in Kuching, Sarawak, eröffnet. Der Naturforscher Alfred Russel Wallace ermutigte Charles Brooke, den zweiten Weißen Rajah von Sarawak, zur Gründung des Museums.
