Vișeu de Sus - Felsővisó - Oberwischau

 Mocănița
Calea ferată a Văii Vaserului, cunoscută și sub numele de Mocănița, din Vișeu de Sus, este ultima cale ferată forestieră cu operare regulată din România. Aceasta parcurge o linie îngustă prin pitoreasca Valea Vaserului, în Carpați, aproape de granița cu Ucraina. Utilizată inițial pentru transportul lemnului, o parte a traseului servește astăzi în principal scopurilor turistice, adesea cu locomotive istorice cu aburi. Călătoria oferă priveliști uimitoare ale naturii neatinse și posibilitatea de a experimenta senzația unei călătorii lente cu trenul. Viteza este de doar aproximativ 10-15 km/h, permițând o explorare relaxată a peisajului.

Erdei kisvasút
A Felsővisói Vasút Románia utolsó, rendszeresen üzemelő erdei vasútja. Keskeny nyomtávú pályán halad keresztül a festői Visó-völgyön, a Kárpátokban, közel az ukrán határhoz. Eredetileg fakeresztényezésre használták, ma már a vonal egy része főként turisztikai célokat szolgál, gyakran történelmi gőzmozdonyokkal. Az utazás lenyűgöző kilátást nyújt az érintetlen természetre, és lehetőséget ad a lassú vonatozás érzésének megtapasztalására. A sebesség mindössze 10-15 km/óra, ami lehetővé teszi a táj nyugodt felfedezését. 

Wassertalbahn
Die Wassertalbahn in Oberwischau ist die letzte regulär betriebene Waldbahn Rumäniens. Sie führt auf einer Schmalspurstrecke durch das malerische Wassertal (Vaser-Tal) in den Karpaten, fast bis zur ukrainischen Grenze. Ursprünglich für den Holztransport genutzt, dient ein Teil der Strecke heute hauptsächlich touristischen Zwecken, wobei oft historische Dampflokomotiven zum Einsatz kommen. Die Fahrt bietet atemberaubende Ausblicke auf unberührte Natur und die Möglichkeit, das Gefühl einer langsamen Zugreise zu erleben. Die Geschwindigkeit liegt dabei nur bei etwa 10-15 km/h, was eine entspannte Erkundung der Landschaft ermöglicht. 

Vaser Valley Railway
The Vaser Valley Railway in Vișeu de Sus is the last regularly operated forest railway in Romania. It runs on a narrow-gauge track through the picturesque Vaser Valley in the Carpathians, almost reaching the Ukrainian border. Originally used for timber transport, a part of the route now primarily serves tourism purposes, often utilizing historic steam locomotives. The journey offers breathtaking views of untouched nature and the opportunity to experience the feeling of a slow train ride. The speed is only about 10-15 km/h, allowing for a relaxed exploration of the landscape.
