Malovaný zámek Hrubý Rohozec leží na strmé skále nedaleko severočeského města Turnova přímo nad břehem řeky Jizery. Původně středověký hrad založený ve druhé polovině 13. století se pyšní bohatou historií a dnes slouží jako významná národní kulturní památka. V průběhu století prošla stavba mnoha proměnami, které jí vdechly prvky od pozdní gotiky až po novogotiku. Více než tři století utvářel tvář zámku především hraběcí rod Desfoursů, kterému sídlo sloužilo jako reprezentativní rodinná rezidence. V autenticky zařízených interiérech mohou návštěvníci nahlédnout do bytové kultury šlechty od 17. až do 20. století. Areál obklopený romantickým anglickým parkem zve k fascinující cestě napříč architektonickou historií.

Schloss Groß Rohosetz
Das malerische Schloss Groß Rohosetz liegt auf einem steilen Felsen nahe der nordböhmischen Stadt Turnov direkt am Ufer der Iser. Die im späten 13. Jahrhundert als mittelalterliche Burg errichtete Anlage blickt auf eine bewegte Geschichte zurück und dient heute als bedeutendes Nationales Kulturdenkmal. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte erfand sich das Bauwerk immer wieder neu und wandelte sich durch Umbauten von der Spätgotik bis hin zur Neugotik. Über drei Jahrhunderte prägte vor allem das Adelsgeschlecht der Grafen Desfours das Schloss, das als deren prächtiger Familiensitz diente. In den authentisch eingerichteten Innenräumen tauchen Besucher in die Wohnkultur des Adels vom 17. bis zum 20. Jahrhundert ein. Umgeben von einem romantischen englischen Park lädt die historisch wertvolle Schlossanlage zu einer faszinierenden Zeitreise durch die Architekturgeschichte ein.

The picturesque Hrubý Rohozec Castle sits atop a steep cliff near the North Bohemian town of Turnov, overlooking the banks of the Jizera River. Originally built in the late 13th century as a medieval fortress, the site boasts a rich history and is designated today as a major National Cultural Monument. Over the centuries, the building underwent continuous transformations, adopting architectural styles ranging from Late Gothic to Neo-Gothic. For over three hundred years, the noble Desfours family shaped the estate, using it as their grand family residence. Inside the authentically furnished rooms, visitors can immerse themselves in noble living culture spanning from the 17th to the 20th century. Surrounded by a romantic English-style park, the historic castle complex offers a fascinating journey through architectural history.
