Spomenik Knezu Mihailu
Knez Mihailo Obrenović bio je jedan od najznačajnijih vladara Srbije u 19. veku. On je pre svega poznat po tome što je mirnim putem ispratio poslednje osmanske trupe iz srpskih gradova. U njegovo sećanje podignut je 1882. godine veliki spomenik na konju na Trgu republike u Beogradu. Spomenik prikazuje kneza ponosno na konju, dok njegova ruka pokazuje ka nekada okupiranim krajevima. Za stanovnike Beograda spomenik je danas glavno mesto za sastanke, koje često zovu jednostavno „kod konja“. Iza statue se nalazi Narodni muzej, što ovom mestu daje poseban kulturni značaj.
Knez Mihailo monument
Prince Mihailo Obrenović was one of the most important rulers of Serbia in the 19th century. He is primarily known for peacefully removing the last Ottoman troops from Serbian cities. In his memory, a large equestrian statue was erected in 1882 on Republic Square in Belgrade. The monument shows the prince proudly on a horse, with his hand pointing towards the formerly occupied territories. For the inhabitants of Belgrade, the monument is a central meeting point today, which they often simply call "at the horse." Behind the statue is the National Museum, which gives the location a special cultural significance.
Prinz Mihailo Denkmal
Prinz Mihailo Obrenović war einer der bedeutendsten Herrscher Serbiens im 19. Jahrhundert. Er ist vor allem dafür bekannt, dass er die letzten osmanischen Truppen friedlich aus den serbischen Städten vertrieb. Zu seinem Gedenken wurde im Jahr 1882 ein großes Reiterstandbild auf dem Platz der Republik in Belgrad errichtet. Das Denkmal zeigt den Prinzen stolz auf einem Pferd, wobei seine Hand in Richtung der ehemals besetzten Gebiete zeigt. Für die Bewohner Belgrads ist das Denkmal heute ein zentraler Treffpunkt, den sie oft einfach nur „beim Pferd“ nennen. Hinter der Statue befindet sich das Nationalmuseum, was dem Ort eine besondere kulturelle Bedeutung verleiht.
