 København, den danske hovedstad, fortryller besøgende med sin afslappede atmosfære og maritime skønhed. Det sandsynligvis mest berømte postkortmotiv er Nyhavn, en malerisk havn med farverige gavlhuse og historiske træskibe. Samtidig fungerer byen som sæde for det danske kongehus, hvis officielle residens er Amalienborg Slot. Amalienborg består af fire identiske palæer og er åbent for offentligheden, når kongefamilien ikke er til stede. Et særligt skue er det daglige vagtskifte for Den Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guard), som patruljerer foran slottet i deres traditionelle uniformer.

The most famous postcard motif is probably Nyhavn, a picturesque harbor featuring colorful gabled houses and historic wooden ships. At the same time, the city serves as the seat of the Danish monarchy, whose official residence is Amalienborg Palace. Amalienborg consists of four identical palaces and is accessible to the public when the royal family is not in residence. A special spectacle is the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony performed by the Royal Guard, who patrol in front of the palace in their traditional uniforms.

Kopenhagen, die dänische Hauptstadt, bezaubert Besucher mit ihrer entspannten Atmosphäre und maritimen Schönheit. Das wohl bekannteste Postkartenmotiv ist Nyhavn, ein malerischer Hafen mit bunten Giebelhäusern und historischen Holzschiffen. Gleichzeitig dient die Stadt als Sitz des dänischen Königshauses, dessen offizieller Wohnsitz der Amalienborg Palast ist. Amalienborg besteht aus vier identischen Palais und ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich, wenn die königliche Familie nicht anwesend ist. Ein besonderes Schauspiel ist die tägliche Wachablösung der Königlichen Leibguarde, die in ihren traditionellen Uniformen vor dem Palast patrouilliert.
